Remember when it's raining the berries are not being picked so supply can be limited on those days.

Apples, peaches, pears and citrus trees thrive in slightly acid to neutral pH levels. Use wood ash sparingly on these trees, if at all, unless the soil is highly acidic. Other fruit trees such as cherries and plums, however, grow best in a pH range from slightly acidic to moderately alkaline. Wood ash can add nutrients on these soils without as much concern for soil alkalinity. When fertilizing with wood ash, wear a breathing mask and protective clothing to avoid injury.

Russell Stewart's family has been farming since 1951-2017. When visiting, you will have a beautiful view of the farm surrounding the market with fields of growing fruits and vegetables. When in season, you will even see deliveries of fresh produce arrive by tractor right to the market. Come and enjoy the afternoon shopping in our open air market, knowing that our produce is grown in the fields surrounding you.
